HELM Recovery provides specialized substance abuse treatment for California veterans through secure telehealth. Founded by a veteran, our program combines proven clinical approaches with deep understanding of military culture.

Our 16-week intensive outpatient program addresses both addiction and trauma - because we know that 44.6% of veterans with PTSD also struggle with substance use disorders. You served your country with honor. Let us serve you in your recovery.

Program Overview

16 Weeks to Reclaim Your Life

Phase 1: Stabilization (Weeks 1-4)

  • Assessment, safety planning, identifying triggers, and developing early coping skills

Phase 2: Skills Development (Weeks 5-12)

  • Core recovery skills, family involvement, relapse prevention, relationship building

Phase 3: Transition Planning (Weeks 13-16)

  • Community reintegration, continuing care planning, and long-term success strategies

Format:

  • 3 sessions per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)

  • 3 hours per session

  • 8-10 veterans per cohort
